School Playground Paint Day for Peaceful Playgrounds Boy: Yesterday morning, there was nothing
to do. We came here to ride skateboards and there was nothing to do. Mr. Schlosser was
out here all by himself doing all this, so we helped. We didn’t want him to feel left
out, so we helped him do it. Eric Schlosser: Our kids come out here for
recess time, and a lot of times, they didn’t have a whole lot of things to do at recess
time. They had maybe kickball and then the kids could play chase and things like that.
This is the Peaceful Playgrounds program, and we’re setting up all sorts of different
games. There are twenty-eight different stations. Woman: It does it look like a [unintelligible]?
I think so. Eric Schlosser: There’s a whole component
